The CIPC will be deregistering companies and close corporations, which have continued to fail to comply with the filing of annual returns, on 28 February 2015.
It should be noted that this final deregistration is only applicable to companies and close corporations that was referred to deregistration due to non-compliance with annual returns during January 2013 and which have continued to fail to file annual returns.
If you have not complied with filing of all outstanding annual returns, please contact our offices for assistance in taking the necessary steps in preparing to file your annual returns.
(29 January 2015) – CIPC Disparity of Company Registration and Incorporation Numbers
You may find that the registration number of your company that you submitted during last year is 2014, and the incorporation date is 2015. This is due to the automation of the CIPC’s systems. CIPC now acknowledges the company application immediately on receipt date (in this case of a 2014 filing). In some instances there were applications which were only verified and approved in 2015 and these will show the Incorporation date of 2015.
(05 November 2014) – CIPC customer codes for retrieval of company documents
Clients are advised that you may receive an email or SMS notification from CIPC, to log in to their website to retrieve documents relating to new registrations and certain amendments. Please note that the login details you will receive are that of Resolve, and our fee includes retrieving and filing such documents on your behalf. Clients are requested to disregard such notifications if received. We assure you that we will retrieve all documents necessary, as well as keep an electronic copy in your designated folder on our database should you require a copy of these documents in the future.
(04 November 2014) – Year-end office closure
Our annual shut down will be between Wednesday, 24 December 2014 and Friday, 02 January 2015. Our offices will close on 23 December 2014 at 17h00, and will re-open on Tuesday, 06 January 2015 at 08H00.
